About Us
Abundant Life Missions, Inc. was formed in November 2003 as a non-profit charitable 501 (c) 3 organization to address the issues of poverty, alcohol and drug addiction, hunger and the hopelessness faced by families especially by women and children in our cities and abroad.

The five member Board of Directors have many years of experience and expertise in the areas of ministering to persons who have been physically and sexually abused; incarcerated, homeless and in transition to independent living.

Abundant Life Missions
provides emergency funds as the need arises and is verified.s and makes referrals to other resources. Seminars and workshops in Family Dynamics, Personal Enrichment Skills , Preparation for Employment and other life style lessons according to Judeo-Christian principles are available free of charge to churches, transition homes and other non-profit organizations.

Abundant Life Missions has established five major projects in Malawi, Southeast Africa; they are The Abundant Life Missions Christian Church, The Sanford C. Mitchell, Jr. Early Childhood Development Center, The Living Water Well Project, The Rent A Ride Bicycle and other Enterprises Project and The Women And Girls Economic Success Program (W.A.G.E.S.) which provides educational scholarships and Tailor training.

Phyllis Marie Leftwich, RN, MPA President & CEO
Evangelist Phyllis Marie Leftwich has been a missionary since 1961. She began her service at Bethany Baptist Church of West Los Angeles in California and continues to serve in this capacity at West Angeles Church of God in Christ as a part of the Evangelist/Missionary Fellowship.

Evangelist Leftwich is a Registered Nurse by profession and a Bible teacher by God’s gift. She has taught on the subjects of evangelism, missions and prayer throughout the United States and abroad.. Missionary Leftwich’s formal Christian education includes courses at Los Angeles Bible Training School, Bethany Bible Christian College, Los Angeles School of Ministry and West Angeles Bible College. Missionary Leftwich has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Ministry from Trinity Seminary in Newburg, Indiana.

Missionary Leftwich has served as a Bible teacher and Registered Nurse in 24 foreign countries. The Lord commissioned her to launch the Abundant Life Missions ministry as a means to carry His love to the nations. Her life’s passion is to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of people throughout the world.

Kenyatta Snipe, MA 1st. Vice President
Kenyatta Snipe has been involved in missions for a number of years. He served as Chairman of the men's ministry at Morning Star Baptist church in Boston, Massachusetts where he was ordained as a Deacon.  In addition, he has served the Lord through his vocation at www.StreamingFaith.com, which uses the reach of the Internet to share Jesus with nations all over the world.

Kenyatta is a graduate of Tuskegee University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Also, the Lord blessed him with a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Luther Rice Seminary in Lithonia, Georgia. He is a member of Fresh Anointing Christian Center in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania where he and his wife were ordained as ministers and serve as Missions Directors. They recently led a short-term missions team to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Kenyatta loves the Lord and his ministry passion is world mission.

Victoria J. Green, MA 2nd Vice President
Evangelist Victoria J. Green has been committed to the ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for more than 20 years. She is a member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Charles E. Blake.

Evangelist Green has a passion for God and His people. She has shared the good news of the Gospel message on the streets of Los Angeles and in the countries of Belize, Haiti, Mexico and on the continent of Africa. She is Assistant District Missionary for the West Angeles District of Southern California First Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ.

Evangelist Green is excited about what God is doing in her life as widow, mother, grandmother and missionary. She endeavors to glorify God in everything He has commissioned her to do.

Arleta L. Houston, AA Secretary/CFO
Evangelist Arleta Houston has been a resident of California for 40 years and is a member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles. Evangelist Houston is a graduate of West Angeles Bible College. She is employed as an Account Executive in the field of Commercial Insurance. In addition, she is a Bible Teacher for the New Members Orientation Bible Class at West Angeles Church of  God in Christ.

Evangelist Houston uses her expertise, experience and spiritual gifts to instruct women in Godly living and parenting. She has been a single parent for 30 years. Evangelist Houston is a role model and mentor for younger Christian women. Evangelist Houston loves the Lord and takes great joy in serving people. She is a graduate of Crenshaw Christian Center School of Ministry.

Elder Curtis Taylor, MA Director of Men's Ministry
Elder Taylor is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles and California State University, Dominguez Hills with Bachelor of Arts Degrees respectively. He is also a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts Degree in Theology.

Elder Taylor is a member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ (COGIC) where he serves on the Executive Board of West Angeles World Missions Organization and with the West Angeles Prison Ministry.

He makes frequent evangelistic mission trips throughout the world. In January of 2006 he was successful in establishing a COGIC church in the country of Belize. In 2007 he spent two months preaching and ministering in three East African countries—Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya.

Working for Christ and pleasing God is Elder Taylor’s main focus in life.
