Project Living Water
The project began in 2009 because women and children had to walk miles for water and carry full buckets back to their village. Twenty-four wells have been dug as of December 2020. The health status of the villagers has improved significantly, especially in the children now that they have clean water accessible.
The Chief in Namatingwi Village stated that before the well was dug there were many cases of Cholera in the village. Many lives have been saved The chief of another village said he had been trying to get a well for many years but only when ALM had a well dug for the village were his prayers answered. Will you help bring clean water to another rural village?
The cost of a well is approximately $22,000. USD. CLEAN WATER SAVES LIVES
